Stunning Place
What a stunning house! Staying in such a well-maintained and unique house was a real treat. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The room was very cosy, and the stars were plentiful!

Historic Hanok stay
I marked facilities as a 5 stars because it had exactly what I was looking for in a hanok stay - history, authenticity, charm and basic conveniences - there are two washrooms/shower in a separate, stand alone building. The hanok is beautiful - built in 1799 by the host's ancestor on land that his even more distant ancestor built a home. The host was charming and helpful and full of lots of knowledge about the history of the area and hanoks in general. The room was exactly how I'd pictured a haok room to be with bedding for the floor and some neat details in the furnishings. Would absolutely stay there again. It's a little far from the station but I had a great taxi driver who even stopped to pick up fried chicken for me on the way there!
