The Minzu Hotel is in an excellent location, and quite close to a conference site I was attending.

I stayed at the Minzu from May 1 to May 4, 2010 and found it living up to my expectations and as fine as my previous stays there. It's location was very convenient for the purposes of my trip (a tour of Beijing for a friend who had never visited China), and I found the hotel clean, well-managed and the staff to be a delight. The concierge was extremely helpful in arranged tours to many of the Beijing-area tourism sites. I have and will continue to recommend the Minzu to friends and family visiting Beijing.
