This hotel couldn’t have been better. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the breakfast was more than I expected, and the maid service was top notch. My room, although small, did what I wanted it to do, and it was the quietest hotel I’ve stayed in all my travels in Japan, almost 5 weeks, top to bottom. Well done AZ Inn Fukui. Highly recommend this establishment. Oh, and the Matcha in the lobby’s to die for.

I generally liked my stay. The staff were kind and helpful and the breakfast was great The major surprise was the bed and pillow! Both are VERY hard! I'm used to it but I think children, the elderly and people with health issues will have great difficulties with it
