Cozy and warm hotel, delicious breakfast and dinner included, with free homemade plum wine. Very helpful staff in helping our transportation and other emergency situations. Highly recommend!

The Lodge is located above Seki Onsen ski resort and just below Tsubame Onsen. There are no other facilities nearby, so a car is recommended (4x4 or AWD in winter). The mountainous surroundings are majestic and authentic Japanese breakfast and dinner are provided. They also have some delicious plum wine for your pleasure. Some rooms do not have ensuite toilets. There’s plenty of storage for wet snow gear, next to the onsen ( which we utilized every day). We miss the staff and wonderful Tsubame Highland Lodge and will be back.

cozy, but the onsen was a rather small scaled. Staff were very friendly, the meal was very nice. overall it was not bad.
