While the rooms were fine with lots of space and nice bedding, the rest of the hotel is very old including the onsen and other facilities like toilet. The cost is the same as other 4 other hotels we've stayed at in Akakura onsen but by far the worst in terms of quality. The room was hard to heat and the bathroom was arctic with no heated toilet seats. No yukata to wear to the very old and tired onsen. They also didn't offer any discount vouchers for lift passes; however you could buy Kanko passes from them which could only be paid in cash. There was no secured ski storage space and seems like the public came in randomly to use the hot spring as it's on the ground floor and the reception was on the 4th floor.

Great facilities with super easy access to the main strip of Akakura. Very nice staff and very willing to help.
