淡路廣場飯店 - 洲本溫泉

Not very accessible. Need a car or taxi with expensive tolls to enter the island. Room was old and warm despite the blasting the aircon - was not working. Had to get an extra fan. Breakfast and dinner was relatively good but the sashimi were not as fresh

I really enjoyed my time at Plaza Awajishima. The staff were very friendly and helped us in English. The facilities were beautiful and relaxing. Every location in the hotel had an amazing view. Of course, the onsen was incredible, as well as the relaxation room afterwards where you can sit and drink complimentary tea. We also reserved the private onsen, which was very enjoyable. The shuttle bus is useful and picks you up at the port, where there is a farmers market, free foot onsen and konbini. The only thing you need to plan is bringing snacks and meals to the hotel if you do not choose the dinner included option. I would recommend opting into the breakfast/dinner because it was so delicious ! I think we were on a floor of the hotel that had smoking rooms, so you can sometimes smell cigarettes in the hallway which wasn't ideal. Other than that, this was a great hotel!
