Awesome location, room, and food.
We enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast. The gentleman and lady who operated the establishment were very welcoming and polite. They showed us where to park, where the public bath is, and what transportation options were available to the ski lifts. The rooms were very comfortable with ensuite toilet. There is a communal bath with onsen in the basement separated by gender. I enjoyed our stay and would be glad to stay again. Thank you

We loved our stay at Shinazawa. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Lovely Japanese breakfasts (vegetarian accommodated); beautiful clean, comfortable rooms; great onsen; kind hosts; drying room for ski gear; close to shuttle to ski area; completely quiet and peaceful. Warm and homely. We loved it.
