Stayed here for one night just for the private onsen and the kaiseki meals. The hotel is on a quaint midcentury structure. We had a japanese style room for 4 people. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great. We got to use the private onsen twice. It's a bit hard to get to (2.5 hours by bus plus maybe 30 mins by car) but it's worth visiting.

Excellent value hotel, Japanese level service and great amenities
Location is good, on top of a hill which gives a stunning view over the ocean and town. Need a car to get around though, although the hotel helped us to book a taxi for a night out. Onsen is excellent and free private onsen use is really great, it was our first time to use a private one and it even had an indoor and outdoor bath in it. Huge selling point for me. Many free amenities were provided, including 24 hour coffee and snacks at the small bar area. Outdoor and indoor seating is plenty and staff are very friendly. Room was beautifully clean and a really lovely Japanese style tatami floor room, with comfortable futons and Japanese style table on the floor as well as normal coffee table and chairs. Yukata and slippers also provided. Cannot fault anything. Didn't try the breakfast or dinner as I don't eat seafood, but my partner said it looked delicious and most likely very fresh. Stay at this hotel, you won't be disappointed
