Overall an excellent hotel. We booked the terrace view room and could clearly see the Eiffel Tower. Room was very comfortable and the lobby staff were really attentive and helpful. Also, communication prior to the stay was great - we could chat through the Agoda app and book an airport shuttle, ask questions about storing luggage, etc. The staff responded very promptly and were very helpful. There were however some issues we faced on this stay that should not happen at a 5-Star hotel: Inconsistency between lobby staff and service staff. Lobby staff (reception, concierge, bell-hop) all excellent. Cleaning staff, room service, not so good. First day the room was well-prepared, but on 2nd day, no water bottles and not enough coffee capsules (we had requested no decaf capsules, but they kept giving us more decaf). 3rd day, came back to room and it seemed incomplete cleaning - bedroom was done but dirty dishes left on table and washroom had cleaning brush left in bathtub (tub not cleaned). Wall electrical sockets not working and usb ports near bed took way too long to charge (even overnight, my phone didn't get to 100%). Only found 1 socket near the door that worked. QR code for room service not working well - when you scan you get a static menu that you can't zoom in with your fingers (we used multiple devices and even the Shangri-la app... nothing worked). Menu was way too small to read - had to keep screen grabbing each item. Not convenient. If the hotel can improve these points, they would be a top rated hotel in Paris
