I’m disappointed and unsatisfied with this experience. Due to the policy of Agoda, we were not able to access the link for filling in the checkin information. We reached the host a day before our checkin day and submitted our checkin information as soon as possible. On the next day, the host told us he can’t received our submission and we submitted it for the second time immediately. They told us our checkin time would be postponed and we believed they would follow up as soon as possible. Unfortunately and furiously, we killed time and waited for our checkin but we can’t receive any reply. We couldn’t contact the host and we finally waited outside for long time. Meanwhile we met another group of Taiwan travellers and they encountered the similar situation. How unresponsive the host is… They offered help and contacted Agoda customer support team. They helped to contact the host and solve the issue with us. Of course the host disappeared. Very thankful for their help. Finally we accessed our room and it was already midnight. Ridiculously we received the host’s reply on the next day morning HAHA. I would say this was definitely the worst hotel experience in my life. About the accommodation, it takes around 10 minutes to walk to Otsuka Station, I wouldn’t say it’s convenient. But there are some supermarkets and convenience stores nearby so not to worry when you’re hungry at night. The room equipped with most of the necessities but it was extremely smaller than our expectation. Very crowded for 3 persons to stay. It was very difficult to move when the sofa bed in the underground was opened. So don’t expect there’s much room for you to open your luggages. It’s quite pricey but it’s understandable as we’re in Tokyo. To ne honest, I believe I could find a better accommodation with this price. An accommodation with frontdesk service is preferable than that with self checkin accommodation next time.
