As first time visitors to Tokyo, we chose the Westin based on a friend’s recommendation. What we didn’t anticipate was how much our visit would exceed our expectations. The staff made us feel like we were home without sacrificing any of the authentic Japanese customs and traditions. Our room was immaculately clean when we arrived and was maintained meticulously each day. The amenities were beyond lovely, from the pressed loungewear to the eco-friendly aluminum water bottles (which were replenished each day) to the truly heavenly bed. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning, with egg dishes and Chinese noodles served at the table, followed by a resplendent buffet with everything from corn flakes to onigiri, miso soup and incredible rice. It set us up each day for the many miles we walked. But the real selling point was the staff. We would travel to Tokyo again just to be cared for by Momoe and Yuko at the concierge desk. They spent at least 40 minutes with us the first day, patiently explaining the trains, drawing diagrams, recommending restaurants, and calling stores to check on inventory for us. To say that they made our stay special is an understatement. They made the transition from jet-lagged US visitor to confident and happy train traveling Japanophile seamless and positive, and we are forever grateful for their thoughtful hospitality.

The rooms are among the biggest I have stayed in in Tokyo. Very comfortable bed. Location is great for Ebisu. Close to train. But room condition is old . They are renovating the lobby. Hopefully rooms are next

Excellent location. Close to train station and restaurants. Large and clean rooms. Staff very courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay there again
