超級棒的guesthouse
老闆和員工都很棒，早上有食材能自己煮，晚餐老闆會煮好，可以自由捐獻，老闆也有很多酒類、飲料、冰淇淋等，都能吃到！重點是整個民宿很有愛，氣氛真的像家！超推????????

Highly recommended
Super nice guesthouse! The best one in my trip. Own hide san and the staffs see you as family, they share drinks/thoughts. They cook dinner every night, which is contributed by donation freely, taste better than restaurant, do not miss and dont hesitate to donate, worths it! Bit walking distance fm station, which is manageable.

Nice guesthouse with private rooms
I was in Yamagata for a seminar and got a single room, I was completely expecting it to be a bunk bed style hostel setup as I booked it last minute around the check-in time on Friday, but I got a nice deal on the room and it’s quite clean, with spacious shared bathroom and toilet facilities. It’s nice that they provide amenities and groceries for cooking by oneself. And every night they do a communal dinner where they have food buffet style prepared by residents. The owners and the travellers pitch in donations for this communal dinner, so if you are staying here, do contribute, it feels nice. :)

Guesthouse Mintaro Hut provides basic rooms, free use of a kitchen and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Free-use laundry facilities are available. Mintaro Hut Guesthouse is an entirely non-smoking property. A smoking area is located in front of the building. The free-use kitchen is equipped with a stove, a microwave and a fridge. Cooking utensils are provided. Guests at Mintaro Hut can cook their own breakfast, using a selection of ingredients that the Guesthouse caters free of charge. Rooms are air-conditioned and fitted with an LCD TV, a seating area and a desk. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Guesthouse Mintaro Hut is a 15-minute drive from Yamadera Temple, and a 40-minute drive from Mount Zao. Yamagata Station is around 17 minutes away on foot.
