OK Hotel near Shin-Omuta station
NOTE: this hotel, like other hotels in Fukuoka prefecture charges a 200 JPY per person tax collected in cash upon check-in (ie--not included in online price). This was not written anywhere on the online listing. Hotel is walking distance from station, however most people will probably drive here. Parking lot is free, BUT is not adjacent to the hotel, but rather an unpaved parking lot on the other side of the paved parking lot. If you park in the wrong place, a kind hotel worker will come outside and tell you to move. Rooms are very basic, but WiFi works, there is hot water in shower, A/C works well. Staff was very helpful! 8/10
