For the price I've paid for 2 pax S$284.90, and to travel by metro is not worth the price. And this price does not include bus and cable to Emei. We have to pay another RMB370 each pax = RMB740 for 2 pax (est S$150). The travelling is too time consuming and tedious and long for this price. The price i'd paid is for the guide to show me how to take metro and change to express train and ride for 1.5 hours++ and catch a taxi and change to another bus and ride for another 1 hour 45 mins++ and change to cable car and guide us up to Mount Emei with brief intro. The guide does not know that foreigner needs to queue at another line in order to take the express train and she made us join the queue and only to realize we were at the wrong queue upon entry and have to re-queue at the tourist line TWICE (to and fro). Mount Emei is a nice place to visit for tourist. But for this price to travel by metro > express train > taxi > bus & cable (to and fro), it is not worth it (EXCLUDING additional to pay RMB370 each pax). I would recommend those who wants to visit Emei to check with their hotel's on tour package to go to Emei without booking thru this Klook package. I have spent S$284.90+S$150=S$434.90 (for 2 pax) just for a guide to show me how to take metro, train, taxi, bus and cable car and walk up to Emei. 6:50am meet at hotel and back to Chengdu's metro around 9:30pm without dinner. Last but not least, the restaurant that the guide brought us to for our lunch before the hike, near the cable station is expensive (est. S$60+) and she eats with us without paying.
第一次try klook私人導遊真的蠻不錯，highly recommend. 很幸運的看到峨眉山的雲海/佛光，結束爬山行程後，小李導遊還帶我們嚐了峨眉美食，行程的時間與安排，很棒
This is a poorly planned tour. For an expensive tour, the did not anticipate the rush hour at the ticketing areas. From the start they are saying we will not make it to the top, which is the main attraction. At every phase, they keep discouraging us to not push thru. If they knew this they should have started the tour earlier like 5AM and not 7:30 AM. We weren’t even able to ride the cable car. To be fair to their customers who ended up not getting the full package, they should at least refund part of the fee. The problem is worsened further since they inserted part of the tour from the other day (which was cancelled due to weather conditions) to this tour, resulting in lack of time for everything. We feel this is a sham and should at least be planned better.
